jellybean, by Runners High Group Limited · version 0.2, written for the v1.0 app

Draft. A lawyer has not reviewed this yet, so the final text may change. Questions in the meantime: hello@jellybeanrunclub.com.

In an emergency, call 911. Then, when you can, report it in the app so we can act on the account.

jellybean works because strangers turn up at the same corner at the same time and treat each other well. These are the rules. Breaking them can cost you your account.

1show up, or say so

2keep names and contact details out of it

3no harassment

Not allowed, on a run or in the app:

Serious or repeat harassment means a permanent ban. If a crime may have been committed, we will cooperate with police as the law allows.

4run responsibly

5meeting people: practical advice

These are habits many runners use. They reduce some risks, they do not remove them.

8women-only runs

Women-only runs and jars are open to eligible members. You are eligible automatically if the sex marker on your verified ID reads female. Only eligible members can see and join them; everyone else sees mixed runs. Posting one is the poster's choice. If you are a woman and your ID does not reflect that, tap "ask for a review" in the app or write to us, and a person will review it. If you are not eligible, do not turn up to a women-only run.

10what happens when rules are broken

Depending on how serious it is: a warning, losing credits, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. Anything involving violence, threats, sexual harassment, or using someone else's ID is usually a permanent ban on the first offence. You can ask for a review by writing to us.
